Established in 2011, Re.new Artists, Imaging and Consulting, the brainchild of entrepreneur Duane Gazi-White, was born out of what, at the time, seemed as a simple necessity.
With the on-set of digital downloads and a new structure in how record labels marketed music, Gazi-White could see that established and revered R&B, Jazz, Soul, and Disco artists were being neglected by record labels and their marketing teams. Award-winning artists with resumes full of awards, accolades and chart-topping hits were not receiving the proper attention they deserved.
In an epiphany, Gazi-White, whose love and passion for these artists could only be described as an obsession, decided to offer a special service for these vocalists — something different from the norm.
And, Re.new was born. Its function: to create a current take on imaging, styling and marketing for iconic artists. Clients include Tony Award winner Melba Moore, Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge, and Ladies of SKYY. Gazi-White has over 26 years of experience in the fashion industry, with powerful connections to well-established photographers, stylists, make-up artists, and hairstylists which make the Re.new team the go-to source for any artist's imaging.
Gazi-White is also the Director of Scouting and Development at Trump Model Management, one of New York City's top modeling agencies.
