Shefik moderated a series of panels during Hip-Hop Tech Con, an online conference held earlier this month. Hip-Hop Tech Con is a conference at the crossroads where hip-hop, technology, and entrepreneurs meet. The conference promotes the narrative that creative professionals and business executives are the personification of transformational growth — as seen through the lens of entrepreneurship. Shefik is a Professional Member at the New York Chapter of National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (New York Emmys), as well as a National Associate Member at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Primetime Emmy Awards).
