B33 ANGEL (Bridgette Angelique) thrives on being self-sufficient in many aspects. From extensive training and participation in music education, musical theater, dancing, writing, and acting throughout her childhood — to audio recording technology, promotion, marketing, directing in her later years — she applied all the knowledge and experience to the development of her artistic career and continues to grow. When describing her voice, most people can't seem to pinpoint an exact singer she replicates. However, most commonly happen to say "she has the voice of an angel".

On June 24, 2017, Broadway Sings for Pride held a Broadway-themed concert, as part of "NYC Pride: Youth Pride", at 14th Street Park, in New York City. Produced in partnership with founding sponsor Target, the annual "NYC Pride: Youth Pride" is a socially engaging, safe space where teens can celebrate New York Pride with their friends. Broadway Sings for Pride is a multiple award-winning, non-for-profit organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists, and celebrities, to educate the public, raise awareness of the needs of LGBTQ+ youth, and support these young people, so that they may reach their full potential.

B33 ANGEL performed the songs "Conga!" and "Turn the Beat Around" during the event, where Shefik served as Videographer.

"Conga!" is the first hit single released by Miami Sound Machine, led by Gloria Estefan, on their second English-language album, "Primitive Love". The song was written by the band's drummer and lead songwriter Enrique Garcia.

"Turn the Beat Around" is a disco song written by Gerald Jackson and Peter Jackson, and performed by Vicki Sue Robinson in 1976, originally appearing on her debut album, "Never Gonna Let You Go". Released as a single, the song went to #10 on the Billboard pop charts, and #73 on the Billboard soul chart. The song earned Robinson a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The track also went to #1 on the Billboard disco chart for four weeks. "Turn the Beat Around" is considered a disco classic and is featured on many compilation albums.

In 1994, the song was recorded by Estefan for the soundtrack to the film "The Specialist". It is also featured on Estefan's fourth solo album, "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me". Released as a single, it became a hit reaching #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Estefan also took the song to the top spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart, making it her first #1 song on that chart in English. In Europe, the song peaked at #21 in the United Kingdom, #24 in Scotland, #27 in the Netherlands, and #29 in Belgium.
